AJAX Synchronous Call without freezing the UI

Stratos Provatopoulos

I am currently working as a web developer in Greece for an advertising agency but I consider myself to be an all around technology enthusiast. I like working both front end and back end, so I guess that makes me a full stack developer. You can find me at , Twitter, Linkedin and Facebook

Thank you for the example. I have a question about how you can adapt the defer method to the same function. In other words, I have function fun, which makes a synchronous ajax call. How can this function be called multiple times without freezing the UI. e.g. first fun is called, and has not returned success yet, then the second fun is called. Could you please advise me what I can do in that situation? Thank you.
